As a women's organization with a mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers, the JLDOC believes in using the strength of women and the power of community to make a difference in the lives of those in Durham and Orange Counties. While the JLDOC’s operating expenses are mostly covered by our dues, our Community Outreach and training of volunteers is not. The funds we raise allow us to train our volunteers, offer Kids in the Kitchen workshops, and further our Focus area of “Helping Children Develop to their Full Potential.”

There are many ways to support the mission of the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties:
